Catawba County Manager Mick Berry presented his recommended Fiscal Year 2018-19 budget to the Catawba County Commissioners following the May 14, 2018 Board Subcommittee meetings.

Newton’s proposed budget includes decreased electric, increased water rates

Newton Council was presented with the 2018-19 budget. The proposed budget includes a decrease in the electric rate and an increase in the water and waste water rates. The budget also will maintain the current property tax of $0.54 per $100 of assessed property value.
