Conover Police Department names new major

On April 21, 2016, Lieutenant Robert Houston was promoted to Major. The major’s role is Assistant Chief of Police. Houston will oversee the majority of the day to day operations of the department. A small ceremony was held at the Conover Police Department with family, friends and co-workers on Thursday.....
