Conover woman arrested for hitting a probation officer, possession of multiple drugs

A Conover woman was arrested over the weekend following an altercation with a probation officer and a police search of her residence. 
Conover Police arrested Michelle Kingsley Perkins, of Conover, on Saturday around 12:30 p.m. 

Officers responded to the residence after getting a call from a probation officer who was doing a home visit. The officer and Perkins had gotten into an altercation and she struck the officer in the face, according to Conover Police Department’s Lt. Houston.
