Locals optimistic of COVID vaccine

While the unveiling of the COVID vaccine has left many skeptical, it seems that there are also many who are hopeful for the results the vaccine is promised to bring.

Beth Rudisill, MSN, RN-BC, NPD-BC, Professional Development Coordinator for Catawba Valley Medical Center, described her experience, both in taking the vaccine and administering it to the elderly population. Rudisill stated she was skeptical initially, but after doing her own research, decided to take it. She described that her aging parents were also a main reason she decided to get the vaccine.
