Police: 4-year-old walks away from daycare to grandparents’ house

A 4-year-old student at a local daycare was able to elude teachers and wonder away from the property before walking to his/her grandparents house, according to officials with the Newton Police Department.

On Monday, Feb. 8, while employees of Thornton Education Center were otherwise occupied with another student, a four-year-old student left the school according to Newton Police Major Tim Hayes.
