Police: Altercation over groceries leads to stabbing

A Newton woman was arrested Monday after a domestic dispute over groceries bags left a man stabbed in the arm, according to a press release from the Newton Police Department.
On Monday around 8 p.m., Newton police responded to the 1300 block of N. Frye Ave. to a report of a stabbing. Aaron Fitzgerald Rippy, 42, of Conover, reported the incident and called for EMS assistance from a location outside of Newton.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with Terrie Patrice Williamson, 36 of the North Frye Avenue address, who was the suspect in the stabbing. Rippy had already left the residence.
