Science Center sends T-Rex to CVCC

Thursday’s sunny weather welcomed a blast from the past from the Catawba Science Center.  Tyrannosaurus Rex made his way through Hickory until he reached the campus of Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC).

Executive director Tracy Hall said T-Rex was joining some other dinosaurs for much- needed repairs.

“They were built around 1980,” she said.
