Surveillance Operation Leads to Four Drug Arrests

Denver, NC - On Wednesday September 7, 2016 the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested four people after seizing multiple types of drugs during a surveillance operation. The operation took place near the 7100 block of Hwy. 73 in Denver.
After receiving complaints about drug activity in the area, narcotics detectives conducted the operation and saw individuals engaging in what appeared to be drug activity. According to detectives, one subject appeared to have been injecting himself with a needle in a nearby parking area while a passenger in a vehicle.
Detectives approached the occupied vehicle and saw drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view. Detectives made a search of the occupants and the vehicle and seized methamphetamine, heroin, oxycodone, Xanax, Subutex, needles, and a pipe. Detectives say all the occupants of the vehicle possessed some type of drugs.
“These individuals had a cocktail of illicit and prescription drugs. For tonight, at least, our detectives stopped their drug use before something very dangerous to the public or their own lives and well-being occurred,” says Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Lt. Jon Propst.
Eric Daniel Nolen, 40, of Nolen Acres Road, Iron Station, NC was charged with one felony count each of Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance and Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance. He was also charged with one misdemeanor count each of Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He received a $12,000 secured bond.
Joshua Lee Nolen, 32, of Brim Lane, Denver, NC was charged with one felony count of Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance and one misdemeanor count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He received a $6,000 secured bond.
Antony Dyon Robinson, 38, of Waderidge Trail, Iron Station, NC was charged with one misdemeanor count each of Possession Schedule IV Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He received a $2,000 secured bond.
Ashley Lynn Correll, 38, of Preston Lane, Stanley, NC was charged with one misdemeanor count of Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance. She received a $1,000 secured bond.

Citizens can also call Crime Stoppers at 704-736-8909 and can receive a reward up to $1,000 if your information leads to an arrest. Callers can remain anonymous and all tips are investigated.
