Wreck near justice center halts traffic

A three-car accident at intersection of Radio Station Road and Northwest Boulevard in Newton has caused traffic to be re-routed around 5 p.m. on Thursday.

Jeep Grand Cherokee, traveling towards Radio Station Road on West A Street, t-boned a Toyota Camry after the Camry ran a red light heading southbound on NW Boulevard, according to witnesses.

After being struck, the Camry traveled 130 feet to a curb and another 90 feet on the curb before coming to a rest, according to officials at the scene.

The southbound lane of 321 was closed during that time.
